Vocational Workforce Services

Toi Kai Rawa's Vocational Workforce Services aim to increase rangatahi awareness and access to vocational employment and education opportunities across the Eastern Bay of Plenty region. Our focus is on secondary students from years 9 to 13 from the following schools within the Eastern Bay or Plenty:

• Murupara Area School
• Te Wharekura o Ruatoki
• Tarawera High School
• Trident High School
• Whakatāne High School

However, providing all secondary students from all secondary schools or in alternate education within this area the opportunity to benefit from this service is important.

Toi Kai Rawa aims to create opportunities into employment options, study and entrepreneurship through collaboration with communities, local businesses and STEAM industries. We focus on facilitating workshops, events and strategic initiatives, empowering rangatahi to shape their futures and unlock the next generation of talent and innovation.

We believe in community-centric partnerships to bridge the gap between education and employment, we continue to strengthen relationships with local businesses who contribute their time and expertise to help rangatahi experience opportunities that inspire them into the workforce.
