Brooklyn's drive lies in empowering women, youth, and Māori communities. She excels as a problem solver, who’s unwavering commitment is to identify and bridge gaps in opportunities for our rangatahi. She embodies the spirit of a go-getter and activator, bounding on the scene with fresh enthusiasm, aroha and energy.
Her vision is clear - she aspires to see Māori youth and people flourishing, backed with the mana of their tipuna and instilled with confidence, fully aware of the wealth and opportunities available to them, both in higher education and all aspects of life.
Born in Kirikiriroa but proudly calling Mount Maunganui home, Brooklyn brings with her a rich 11- year background of working with and for people. Her life's mission is to make a meaningful impact and a tangible difference, ensuring that the Māori community thrives, and that every individual, regardless of their background, is equipped with inspiration and the tools to succeed.
