Mere is a proud māmā and comes with an extensive background of 20 years involved with several large corporates, mainly specializing in Account Management, in the Telecommunications, Advertising and Marketing sectors.

She has also worked with Housing New Zealand to provide support with First Home ownership, which is an area she is extremely passionate about.

She is in her second year of Law at the University of Waikato where she wishes to build her technical expertise to bring into the Papakāinga, and Housing developments for first home owners space.

Mere firmly believes all New Zealanders have the right to a healthy home, and this is an essential component to the wellness of our people.

As a natural problem solver, she aims to support the whole team, in any way she can. Her biggest enjoyment in her mahi, is connecting with people.

Her greatest achievement in life are her 4 tamariki who also whakapapa to Ngāti Maniapoto, Tainui and Ngāti Tuwharetoa. They are her greatest teachers, and the ultimate motivation to be the best possible version of herself. He aha te mea nui a te ao, he tangata, he tangata, he tangata.
