Toi Kai Rawa in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development and its partners are helping to raise the profile and strengthen the pipeline of students coming into the vocational education system.
The Education to Employment (E2E) Brokerage service aims to increase young people’s awareness of vocational education and provide pathways into employment for secondary school students, including those at risk of leaving school without entering training or tertiary education. Additionally, the service supports employers in connecting with school students in their communities, allowing them to showcase local employment and vocational opportunities for students.
The target group is students in Years 9 to 13 at secondary school, kura, or in alternate education within the Eastern Bay of Plenty and are listed below:
